Welcome to Primary 6

A big hello from everyone in P6. We have settled in well to P6 and so far we have been busy making our classroom charter, looking how having a growth mindset helps us to become more positive about our learning and we have also been revising numeracy and literacy concepts. As a class, we decided on the best layout of our classroom to support us in our learning and where our work should be displayed.

Our topic this term will be climate change. We thought this was very appropriate given that the next UN climate change conference will be held in Glasgow in October/November this year. We will also be working towards achieving the Pope Francis Faith Award. It takes two years to complete this so it won’t be completed until P7 in the next academic session.

Our P.E. days are Wednesdays and Thursdays.
