More Visitors for P3!
Last Friday three people from the Vision Support Service came to tell us how they help blind, and partially sighted, children in the community. They had a lot of interesting activities for us.
Our favourites were, finding out what was in a box by touch alone and decorating gingerbread people with icing while wearing special goggles. The goggles gave us an idea of what it’s like not to be able to see properly.
We had fun while learning about services which help people in our community.
Interesting Interviews
Mr Slack visited us to tell us about his work in the school and the Lochardil community. He is a very busy man. He also answered any questions we had for him about his job.
Mr Gimson, the chairman of the Lochardil Commnity Council also visited us. We asked him a lot of questions about the Lochardil area. He knew nearly all of the answers! Well done Mr Gimson.
We also had fun interviewing Mrs Caddell, Miss Melville, Mrs A Fraser, Mrs Armstrong and Cook about their role in the school community. We are looking forward to interviewing Mr Grant next week.
Thank you Mr Slack and Mr Gimson for coming in and answering all of our questions. We learned a lot about our local community. Thank you to all the people we interviewed too. We hope you enjoyed being interviewed by us!
