Health and Wellbeing

Our Health and Wellbeing programmes and courses cover:

Food and health
Mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing
PE, physical activity and sport
Planning for choices and changes
Relationships, sexual health and parenthood
Substance misuse

We follow the programme outlined within Curriculum for Excellence and focus on mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing. This work is introduced throughout the curriculum in a variety of ways; through contexts for learning, interdisciplinary studies, with science, and sometimes discreetly.

In line with Government guidelines all of our children enjoy the stipulated 2 hours per week PE. Our children follow a programme that includes gymnastics, athletics and a wide variety games skills related to tennis, badminton, netball and basketball.
