Pupils explore a variety of different cults and their impact on the modern world.  Pupils evaluate to what extent cults are similar to religions.

Critical Thinking and Philosophy

Pupils learn how to follow clear and rational lines of argument and explore the flaws people can make in rational discourse.  Pupils learn how to think clearly and rationally.

Nuclear Weapons

Pupils learn about what nuclear weapons are and how they have been used in history.  Pupils evaluate the benefits and drawbacks of nuclear weapons and form an opinion backed with reasons of their value in today’s world.
