What is Belief?
Pupils explore ideas connected to belief and knowledge and learn how beliefs influence action. Pupils learn about beliefs and practices within the major world religions and reflect on ways they can put their own beliefs into action.
World Religion – Christianity
Pupils learn about the beliefs and practices of Christians. They also learn about how Christianity came to Scotland. Pupils explore the ways in which Christianity brings meaning, value and purpose to Christians and reflect on the ways in which meaning, value and purpose is present in their lives.
Festivals and Celebrations
Pupils learn about the festivals and celebrations from a variety of different religious traditions and explore the history and meaning behind each one.
