Learning & Teaching
At Our Lady of the Annunciation Primary School, we are committed to providing high-quality learning and teaching which supports, challenges and inspires every child.
We aim to create learning experiences which are engaging, inclusive and meaningful, helping our children develop the knowledge, skills, confidence and values they need for learning, life and work.
Our approach is underpinned by Curriculum for Excellence and shaped by our Catholic ethos and Gospel values. Through a broad and balanced curriculum, children are encouraged to be active participants in their learning, work collaboratively, think creatively, solve problems and take increasing responsibility for their progress.
We use a range of approaches to support learning, including Kagan Cooperative Learning, digital technology, outdoor learning, interdisciplinary learning and opportunities for pupil leadership and wider achievement.
