Summer uniform swap

☀️ SPRING/SUMMER uniform swap☀️

The PA are going to pull out our clothing rail ready to hang pre-loved summer school uniform to share and swap. A great way to re-use uniform that no longer fits, and to get summer items for free that are often only worn for a short time.

We would love any donations of clean items in good condition from the list below to add to our rail.

☀️ Summer school dresses

☀️ Short sleeve polo shirts (with or without school logo)

☀️ School grey shorts or skirts

☀️ Cotton cardigans / jumpers

☀️ School blazers

The donations box will be in the foyer at the main entrance from today, and the rail available, same place, from tomorrow.

Thank you for helping us to reduce, re-use and recycle.

Outdoor Clothing Swap

MESSAGE FROM OUR PARENTS ASSOCIATION:

Hi everyone,

We have been bowled over by the huge amount of donations for our outdoor wear clothing swap! Thank you all so much.

We have arranged the clothes and footwear on a rail in the main foyer, outside the school office. This will be accessible from drop off to pick up, and at afterschool times all this week.

Please pop in and see if there’s anything you can re-home.

The donations box is also still there for any further clean, good condition items.

We are really excited to be supporting our Eco School to reduce, re-use and recycle ♻️.

Thanks, The PA

School Uniform

Saturday 5th June  – 10.30am – 11.30am

Many thanks to the parents who organised our school uniform donations. There was a great response to this last week and I am delighted that we are able to recycle good quality school uniform in a responsible way.

If you missed this last week, the parents have organised another opportunity to pick up good quality donated school uniform. This will be laid out on tables in the school car park this Saturday 5th June between 10.30 and 11.30.

Please follow social distancing guidelines. Thanks again to all of you who have donated to this event and to the parents for organising.

Please come along and help yourselves. No payment is necessary.

Water in the lunch hall

Pupil Voice Information – important message for parents and pupils

From Monday 27th January , there won’t be any plastic cups in the lunch hall for water. This is to reduce our use of single use plastic.

If pupils want water at lunch time, they will need to bring their water bottles. Every class will have a box to put their water bottles in after lunch.

Please help us make this possible by making sure that your child brings a water bottle to school every day, labelled with their name and class.

This is a really big step towards our campaign to reduce single use plastic. Next we will tackling the use of milk cartons!

Many thanks from Pupil Voice Committee
