Uniform
At Merrylee, we want uniform to be comfortable and affordable. Grey and light blue are the colours of our school.
We encourage all our children to change their shoes when they come inside to keep our carpets clean. Trainers are best for outside and plimsolls are best for inside. Some children prefer to have two pairs of trainers. We have recently reviewed our policy and crocs are not suitable for indoor shoes due to the potential for accidents.
We are an all weather school and take part in lots of outdoor learning. Children also need to have full waterproof outdoor wear – waterproof jacket, waterproof trousers, and wellies or boots.
Embroidered Merrylee polo shirts and jumpers are available, but there is no requirement to have these. We have a stock of pre-loved uniform that has lots of uniform options, available at our community entrance.
