Parent Partnership
Being a member of the Kings Park Secondary School Parent Partnership (PP) is a great way to meet other parents/carers and teachers and understand better what goes on at school and its challenges and successes.
The aim of the PP is to provide a forum for parents and carers of pupils to meet with the senior management of the school and maintain a good working relationship for the benefit of all pupils, teachers and the wider school community specifically:
- For parent/carer members to represent the wider parent/carer group and act in the best interest of the parent/carers, pupils and wider school community.
- To gather and represent the views of the wider parent/carer group to the Headteacher, local authority and HM Inspectorate of Education.
- To raise and/or allocate funding for appropriate schemes and activities that support the school and its pupils.
Some of the activities we have supported recently are:
- Input and feedback into the school curriculum pathway and improvement plan communications.
- Input and interviews as part of the HM inspectorate of Education school reporting process.
- Fundraising at the school Christmas Fair.
- Providing a member of the judging panel for the Youth Philanthropy Initiative award.
We are looking to expand our activities in 2026 with social activities and community partnerships and would welcome new members so If you are interested in finding out more about the PP please email the PP mailbox at:
