Playground Development Project 

This year, our House Captains are leading the start of our Playground Development Project. This will be a project which will span a number of years.

Our aim this year is to:

• Gather ideas from pupils, staff, parents and BOSCA on ways which we can improve our playground.
• Visit a local school which has a variety of equipment and speak to pupils to hear their recommendations.
• Create a plan detailing what equipment and activities we are going to use in specific areas of the playground.
• Select an area to develop this year (if possible)
• Organise fundraising for the future areas of development.
• Share all this information with the school community.

There are areas of the playground which are muddy and we are hoping to lay a soft surface so that these areas can be used all year round.  A canopy has also been suggested for over the picnic benches, again, to allow them to be used throughout the year.

We have created a PowerPoint to help gather ideas of how specific areas of the playground can be used. There is a QR code within the presentation and we would be grateful if you could complete this and let us know your ideas and suggestions.
