The library provides a safe and welcoming environment for pupils. The book stock has a wide range of fiction and non-fiction to encourage both reading for pleasure and reading for information.
The Library service is provided by Glasgow Libraries. This means that every pupil now has a library card, which they can either take away, or have held in the library. This not only enables them to borrow books from the school library, but gives them access to a wide range of resources via the Glasgow Libraries website (link below). http://www.glasgowlife.org.uk/libraries/Pages/home.aspx All pupils need to access these resources is the number printed above the barcode on their library card – it always begins with D
