Parents Night – Wednesday 18th May 2016

This afternoon we have our first parents evening. We are looking forward to seeing you all there. Remember if you have an appointment but can no longer make it, please give us a call at the school to let us know.    

‘Wake Up Shake Up’ Is Here To Stay

Due to the success of our ‘Wake Up Shake Up’ programme as part of health week we will now be running sessions every Wednesday morning from 8.30 – 8.50AM starting on Wednesday the 18th of May 2016. All pupils from Primary 1 -7 are welcome to attend. Parents and carers are welcome to join us too. We are looking forward to seeing you all there.

Rookie Rockstar CD’s Available To Order Now!!!

Our very own Rookie Rockstar CD is now available to order from our school office. CD’s are priced at £5. For every CD sold to school will receive £1 back to go towards school funds. Each CD contains 5 original Rookie Rockstar songs, sung by the children of Balornock. The CD cover was also designed by one of our pupils.

Working Hard!

We have been working very hard to proofread our work using passages from The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Anderson. It is great fun and we get to mark our own work but it can be quite challenging! We hope that we can get better at proofreading soon!

Primary 5/4

On Monday the 9th of May (next week) we will be launching our Health Week. We have a week of fun, active and healthy activities organised. It is going to be a fantastic. Rookie Rockstar tickets are now available at the school office priced at £5. Remember to check what concert your child is part of. We are looking forward to seeing you all there.

Super Swimmers

We went swimming at Maryhill pool. We met our teacher called Miss McGreish. Group 1 got fabulous certificates and had an amazing time. Group 2 have just started swimming and learnt all the safety rules. We can’t wait to go back!
