Rida made an interesting selection of healthy food.
Shahmir and Shanzay got an interesting delivery from Miss Bull!
Today must be exciting, knowing you will be celebrating soon!
In order to help make this Eid a little more special, you could:
-write about your favourite Eid celebrations you have had in the past.
-write about what you are most looking forward to this Eid.
-write about what Ramadan and Eid mean to you.
-you could illustrate your favourite Eid celebration or create a story map of the celebration.
If you are not celebrating Ramadan and Eid, think of your special celebrations to reflect on. This exercise is about reflecting on our celebrations and what they mean to us.
Miss Bhatti made a fantastic video that shows what you could be doing to prepare for Eid.
We also have this weeks assembly, which focuses on Faith.

I was wondering if you could make an Eid Card for someone in your family? If you make it quick enough, you might even be able to post it to someone in another house!

How long does it take to get to the moon?
What do they go exploring on when they are on the moon?
What countries flag was planted on the moon?
What gets left behind on the moon?
What kind of book do you think this is? Fiction or Non-Fiction?
Before Mr Corrigans reads the book, have a look at the front cover and think about what might happen in the book? Who are the main characters? Where is the story set.
ART:
Mr Corrigan is also helping you to create some Eid Moon Art. I would love to see pictures if you give this a go!!

Last week Miss Bull posted a fantastic blog about Ramadan and Eid, and she gave me the idea to do something similar.
As we know, Ramadan is a very special time, and you must be really looking forward to Eid. It might be hard not sharing these special times with you family, however it will not be long before we are able to give out loved ones a MASSIVE HUG!
This is my first year at St Alberts and I have never been at the school when you are celebrating and preparing for Eid, so I would love if you could help me out and tell me all about Ramadan and Eid.
If you do not celebrate Eid, this is also a great time for you to find out a little bit more about it.
Miss Bull prepared a video with some fantastic questions:
What does ‘fasting’ mean? Why do Muslims fast during Ramadan?
What do these words mean; Suhoor/Sehri, Iftar, Zakat?
Ramadan is the ninth month in the islamic Lunar calendar, but what is a lunar calendar based on?
Ramadan starts when religious leaders tell everyone that they have seen a certain type of moon – Which moon is that?
What special things do you do with your family during the 3 day Eid celebrations?
Ask the adults in your family the questions to help you find out the answers and then ask them to help you type your answers into the comments box on the video.
Here is an interesting video all about a little boy who shares his ideas of how to celebrate Ramdan with your family during the Corona Virus Lock Down.
