A fabulous week for Primary 2!

It has been an amazing week for Primary 2 because we had our class Assembly and we got to show off all of our learning about the River Clyde. The children were all wonderful superstars who did a fantastic job saying their lines with loud, clear voices. We had some drama stars who did a super job at acting out their roles and we have been told that our singing and dancing was fabulous! Mrs Hunter-Andreuccetti is so so proud of all the children in Primary 2.

Also this wee we have been learning about digital learning as it is Digital Learning Week! (Hirrah)

We have been learning about money. (Ayesha and Mysha)

Every morning we have been doing a mental maths challenge where we work out how many people have a packed lunch, how many people are not in and how many lunches we will need. (Aamira and Iman)

Every morning we have been working out different ways to partition numbers. (Ahmed) For example if you wanted to partition 56 you would split it up into tens and units and the answer would be 5 tens and 6 units. (Lily)  56 is also the same as 30+20=50 and then 3+3=6 (Aydin)

We have been learning numbers that come after 20 and how to write them. (Alisha)

We have been learning about the River Clyde. (Laiba and Muaaz)

We have been learning in Science. We have been learning about living and non-living things. (Ghaith)

We have been teaching Twiggle about classroom rules. (Hafsa and Yahya)

We have been practising the Song Of The Clyde and our dance. (Meekal and Wael)

With Hazel we have been showing Twiggle how to do Turtle. (Aamira)

Have a wonderful week.

From Primary 2.
