Wishing all our families a happy Christmas

Thank you to our Tayport Primary School parents – I received a lovely card, on Wednesday this week, from a member of the Tayport community  who unfortunately had fallen when attending the Auld Kirk Carol Concert a few weeks ago.  Mrs Kinnear was overwhelmed by the kindness of the parents from our school who helped her that she wanted to show her appreciation by generously giving a  donation to our school fund.

With best wishes to all our families for a happy and safe Christmas holiday from all the staff at Tayport Primary School.

School reopens on Monday 5th January at 9am.

Wormit Primary School headteacher kindly shared with us a list of available supports for families over the Christmas period: Support this Christmas

Weekly Update – 1 December 2025

Anti-bullying Fortnight learning – our Digital Leaders have used “Book Creator” software to summarise some of the great learning during our focus on using our “power for good” and standing up to bullying: click here.

17th December – Christmas Parties – we are delighted that the Larick Centre has kindly offered to be the venue and provide snacks for our P3-7 parties again this year.  Funds allocated for Christmas activities by the Parent Council are being used to pay for a disco, as well as the P1 and P2 parties (which will happen on 17th December too).  We require parent/carer helpers to support classes safely walking to and from the Larick Centre on the 17th December.  Due to changes in the PVG system volunteers will not be able to stay with classes during the parties.  Christmas Cheer – the Parish Church is requesting some parent/carer helpers on Friday 19th December to support Christmas Cheer from 9am. If you are able to help with either or both please complete the following form: click here.

Please remember to pre-order the Christmas lunch (Wednesday 10th December) ASAP.
