If you’re out and about in Tayport today you might see that parts of the town have been “yarn bombed” to commemorate the 80th anniversary since the official end of World War 2 or VJ Day. The children were involved in this secret community project led by ladies from the Dolphin Centre craft group who came into school numerous times so children could sew the felt poppies. Some of our younger children helped with the date signage on display from Mrs Tweed’s office window.
