Weekly Update – 8 January 2024

Sharing our learning from term 2 –  Just in case you missed it, at the end of term we shared our whole school learning via this Sway: click here. We continue to welcome your feedback on this: click here.

Reporting school absence – if your child is absent from school for any reason it is vital you notify us immediately.  You can do this by: telephoning the school office, send a text to groupcall (07860004846), send a message via the Parents’ Portal or email tayportps.enquiries@fife.gov.uk.  Do not report absences via Seesaw.   If the absence is due to illness please keep school updated.

School Uniform – as we start back to a new term a return to school uniform is appreciated. Please note that on gym days a school jumper in red or black (or leavers’ hoodie for P7) should be worn on top of a plain gym kit.  There should be no football tops and girls should wear plain t-shirts not vests or cropped tops.  Fake nails are unsafe and should not be worn to school.  We would appreciate if wearing make-up is kept for out of school.

Scot Poetry focus – it Is time for our annual Scots poetry learning and presenting.  We are looking for 100% participation in this experience and all children having a go.

School Volunteers – if you are interested in volunteering in school information on how to do so will be shared next week.
