Parent Council

The Parent Council represents the views of parents / carers:

  • to support the school in improving the experience of our children and
  • promote communication within the school community

Our group – largely comprising parents and staff – meets termly. Fife Councillors also attend. Smaller sub groups push forward specific projects. Parents/carers are also welcome to attend any meeting.

Members are self nominated only at the AGM (in August / September) – if you are interested, watch out for details at the beginning of each school year so that you can attend. However, we always want to know your views, comments and suggestions. Please get in touch at any time on friendsofcarnegie@hotmail.com

Facebook will continue to be the main communication tool for our Parent Council. If you would like to follow the Parent Council page then you can search for Carnegie Primary Community in the groups section on Facebook. This page is used to promote the work of the Parent Council and is run by parents not staff.
