It has been raised by home owners along Westfield Road, Cupar that parents have been parking and dropping off pupils. Please refer to the Traffic Management Guide (link below)
Pupils are reminded that this area should not be used for parking or social activities in the evening or at weekends. Please be respectful to neighbours.
On Wednesday 9th October at 8.00 pm on BBC Scotland there is a 4 part documentary starting called ‘Arctic Academy’. This documentary follows Bathgate Academy who went on the expedition to Greenland in April this year. You will get to see what our pupils will be up to next year.
The pupils are working really hard at the moment both on training and fundraising. Thanks so much to the staff who have been joining us on Thursdays for our Insanity training.
This is a super opportunity for those who are part of it and they really are representing BBHS amazingly well! Their determination and commitment is truly outstanding they really are stepping outside of their comfort zones and it’s amazing to watch them as they take on each challenge.
Our next adventure is a week away in October this is for the expedition team and part of this is two nights wild camping in the Cairngorms! I am sure the pupils will come back with lots of amazing stories to share!
S1/S2 Science Masterclasses at Dundee University
The Royal Society of Edinburgh is pleased to announce the 2019 autumn dates for the Start-Up Science Masterclasses at the University of Dundee. The set of 4 classes will take place on Saturday mornings during November and will comprise a mixture of talks and practical activities with guidance and encouragement from session leaders.
At these sessions, S1 and S2 students get up to all sorts of scientific mischief and mayhem.

S1 Scientists wanted!
Any S1 Scientist who’d like to be part of a team demonstrating practical Science to P7 pupils and their parents at the parents’ evening on Thursday October 24th should collect a consent form at a meeting with Dr Parker at break on Tuesday 22nd in Room 337.
Just a reminder that Tempest Photography will be in school on Wednesday 2nd October to take individual S1 photographs. All pupils will have their photo taken and given a copy of it and an envelope from Tempest, should they wish to make a purchase.
