Family Learning

This section is designed to give you some insight into your child’s literacy and numeracy learning in school and to give some ideas for activities you might like to do with your child at home. These pages were originally made to support children who needed to learn from home due to covid isolation. While this is no longer needed we are going to continue to maintain the pages to support family learning for those who might like extra ideas above our core homework offer of reading, spellingframe and sumdog. They will also be helpful in the event of an unexpected school closure e.g. due to severe weather. There is no expectation that any families will do these activities but they are here for those who would find them helpful.
