Weekly Information – 24th November 2023

Christmas Talent Show

Balmerino Primary School is delighted to present a Christmas Talent Show on Monday 18th December at 1.45pm. All children in Nursery-P7 will be taking part. Each family will be able to buy 2 tickets for the show (£2 each). We can’t offer more than two tickets per family due to the capacity of the hall. But each family will also be able to purchase 2 tickets for the dress rehearsal in the morning (£1 each) so a total of 4 people per family can see the show if they want. Information on how to buy your tickets will follow.

Parent Council will be doing fundraising at the show in the afternoon – you will be invited to arrive from 1.15pm to buy raffle tickets, homebaking and teas and coffees.

Here is a message from Parent Council:

P1 Health Checks

Just a reminder that these are on Thursday next week.

School Uniform

As we approach Christmas, some children will start to want to wear Christmas jumpers etc to school. Please keep your P1-7 child in uniform through December. They will be able to wear party clothes the last day of term and everyone will be invited to wear no-uniform/Christmas jumper on the Christmas Lunch Day. It makes these days more special if everyone is in uniform for the rest of December and it helps us to keep a sense of purposeful calm.

Thank you for your support.

Dates

Please check you have all the Christmas dates: available here. The school lunch day is 13th December.
