Reading Together and Sharing Stories at Home (Nursery-P7)

Whatever age your child is, they will enjoy listening to a story with you. Please don’t feel you should stop reading to your child once they can read on their own, Sharing books helps to form a love of reading from an early age. As well as doing their reading homework (once they reach the age that they bring that home), all children will benefit from having access to lots of other texts at home. Let your children read and share what they enjoy – picture books, comics, fiction, non-fiction. Any reading is worthwhile reading.
