Halloween!
Halloween Waste Competition
Primary 5N and Primary 6 ran a whole school waste competition this week. All classes were asked to reuse any type of plastic bottle and turn it into something for Halloween! We had many creative entries including a bat, a ghost and even Frankenstein! Miss MacAulay picked Gui as the winner from the infants and Callum won from the upper school! Well done to everyone who took part!
Halloween Disco
We had our Halloween disco on Wednesday 26th October. It was great fun everyone had fantastic costumes on. I can’t wait till the next Halloween disco. There were lots of prizes and we had 1 for the best costume. 😀 Teegan
The Great Tuck Shop Robbery
This week we have been doing a film with Mr Glegg and Mr Young and it is set in the 1970s. It has been great fun. I have enjoyed being in the film and I can’t wait until it’s finished. Grant
Ocean Life Top Trumps
I made a top trump card so did the whole class and my name was Vertob. Its speed was out of ten. I put my creature ten out of ten as it is fast! It has lots of lines on its body and it is colourful and it had a weird fin. Dylan
P5N Buoyancy
This week we have been learning about Buoyancy and we learned what volume means. We put cans of Pepsi in a box of water and one of them sank but the diet Pepsi floated. It was very exciting. Callum
P5N Top Trumps Cards
In primary 5N were making top trumps cards for our under the sea topic. We made a new kind of creature. My creature was the “sea sandwich fish” and to catch its pray it sinks to the bottom and when a fish comes to take a nibble SNAP! It’s bye bye fish! We had to write its speed, weight, like ability, hunting skills and many other things. We are going to play a game with them soon. Bazooka Boy

Magic Potion in P4
On Tuesday we made a potion and it was really funny because everyone was laughing including me. Everyone wrote about it. I did to and me and Bryan drew pictures of Mr Olyott getting covered in the potion. I had so much fun so did Sophie! We did it because we were following instructions and Mr Olyott put some more in at maths.
