Today we celebrated shrove Tuesday in class. We discussed why we celebrate shrove Tuesday and we also spoke about why tomorrow is a special day for us. The boys and girls were already very knowledgeable about Ash Wednesday and could tell me lots of facts about the day and Lent. We all wrote a promise in a cross that we aim to keep during Lent. Some of us promised to give up our favourite sweets whilst others promised to help more around the house.
