16.9.22 School Groundskeeper minutes by Arthur and Matthew
The P7, 6 and 5s were getting to know each other by telling facts about each other .Then P2, P3 and P4s came and were talking to us about the things they like. We worked together to make our action plan with our aims and targets. We finally went for a walk around the grounds to see where we can plant our trees.

For our last pupil group we planted some more plants and explored the science garden.

This week we discussed our next steps, video for the assembly about litter and to stop dropping litter and picking litter up to keep our green flag and keep the school clean. We typed up an evaluation with our next steps.

Planting herbs
Today we are planting herbs in the science garden. First we took all the stones out of the planting bed so we could plant the herbs. We all contributed and were called out by houses, so everybody got a turn. We all put the stones and some soil in a wheelbarrow. Next we flattened the soil to make it suitable to plant on. Then we went to the ramps and started digging. We dug 3 big holes and planted bamboo in the holes. Now we are planting the herbs. We have herbs like basil, sage, peppermint, parsley and more.
Then we dug little holes for the herbs and planted them. After that we took a big group photo.

The primary 7s, 5s, 3s are going to plant some herbs next to the outdoor classroom in the raised beds. We started by taking out the stones up .
