School Ground keepers

Today we went outside to see what we could improve around the school . We thought that we could improve : by planting more flowers and 🌲 trees also vegetables too. Big holes under the p6s and p7s playground. Outdoor containers.

We finished up the litter picking list and also ready to start the litter picking next week.

Our school ground keepers minutes

We have been discussing in our pupil groups about making bird feeders. We will have a small group researching on how to make a bird feeder and the items that we need.

The other children are going to research what bulbs we would need to plant at different times of the year.

Our p7s had made a rota on litter picking but unfortunately only some pupils had been litter picking so now we are going to put more effort in to it and do it constantly.

We have researched about summer flowering bulbs which  are: Daila, Zinnia, lily and Aster. The flowers you can plant during winter are : Winter honeysuckle, christmas rose, snow drop and winter clematis.

Next time we get together we are going to make bird feeders and fat balls.

Our First Meeting – Minutes
