This Week in P5a (updated)

Literacy:
Ethan- We have continued to answer various questions about a text and we also continued writing poetry.

Talking and Listening (Leading the Leading):
Kerr- We all finished off our lesson this week, including me, where I did a lesson on NASA. I even made a power point!

Numeracy:
Harley- The circles have been revising rounding numbers and we also learned how to round and estimate!
Sophie C- We have continued to learn about multiples and factors and we also learned how to measure in cm and mm.
Ava- We have been learned how to multiply by 9!

RME:
Lucas- We have continued learning about Judaism and today we learned about Jewish Artefacts.

Health and Wellbeing:
Cormac- We have been really lucky as we are now going to Eastwood High School twice a week for PE! It is 6th year pupils who are leading the lessons and we do lots of fun activities like rugby, netball, tennis etc.

Social Studies:
Christopher- We learned about grid references and how to use them on a map.

Outdoor Learning:
Myra- We continued learning how to use a compass! We teamed up with P5B and worked together to follow directions and note down how to get to specific places. We then drew the base compass back in the classroom (it was very cold!!!!) and labelled the parts.

Feel At Home Friday:
As you all probably know now, the children are allowed to bring in a pillow and blanket on a Friday as a cosy treat, and since it was in indoor break and lunch, they all decided to “have a sleepover” and then they built a blanket fort!

Remember to bring in your blanket and pillow on a Friday if you want to 🙂
