Back to School!

I hope you all had a lovely October break. The children have all come back eager to learn and got straight back in to working hard- well done P5a!

Sophie C- The Squares have been revising multiplication and division this week. We have also been learning how to multiply by six as well as chance (probability).
Lewis- The Triangle have been revising the greater than, less than and equal to symbols. We have also been learning how to find the area of shapes.
Cormac- The Circles have been learning about product and we made leaflets to conclude our learning on factors, multiples and product. We also continued our work on symmetry.

Literacy:
Inaaya- This week, we continued to write about setting!

Kerr- We started our growth mindset topic this week.
Ace- Our bounceback lesson was about humour and how it can help us cope during tough times. We had lots of fun rating jokes and telling the class our own!

Expressive Arts:
Yi Chen- We drew a silhouette using pen on a colour wash background that we made last week.

RME:
David- We have been learning about stereotypes and how you can’t assume things about people based on what they look like (name, nationality, religion or job).

Outdoor Learning:
Murdo- We collected leaves and used them to create a leaf person!
