Our Values- Thank you for your feedback
Many thanks for your response to our ‘School Values Survey’. We received 155 responses from our families and your suggestions give a valuable insight into what values matter most to you. Click the link below to see an overview of the most common themes.
This information will now be taken forward, in consultation with our school working group.
Parental Partnerships
We are looking forward to hearing about all the different ways that we can work together to create fun learning opportunities for the children!
In partnership with our Parent Council we are looking at ways that we can involve as many parents as possible in supporting the school. It would be really help us if you could answer a few questions about your interests and skills and whether you feel you have time to get involved in some way to support your child and all children in the school.
By answering this you are not making any commitment but it would help us to plan activities for parents and children in the future. Alternatively, please feel free to speak to a member of the management team at parents’ night.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this form. We value your feedback.
Education City- Home Access
Education City- Home Access
Education City is an online resource with stage appropriate activities linked to Curriculum for Excellence levels. It is a valuable tool to help reinforce your child’s in-school learning. We currently use EducationCity.com in the school to reinforce Literacy, Numeracy and Science. By allowing access at home, your child will be able to access fun, education games to develop their knowledge and skills.
Please note, this subscription allows access to Literacy, Numeracy and Science activities only.

‘Wear Red Day’ Reminder
St. Cadoc’s will be taking part in ‘Wear Red Day’ on Friday October 4th. The day is organised by Show Racism The Red Card as a means to draw attention to their work and stop racism in society. There is no requirement for a donation but any that are made will be forwarded on to SRTRC to help them with their work. Obviously with the predominant school colour already being red we would be asking pupils to wear something extra that’s red in addition to their school polo shirt – trainers, shoes, leggings, a hairband – anything! Should pupils have a red top or t-shirt they’d like to wear instead of the school polo shirt that is fine too.

Questions Raised
Are there plans for slides and presentations to go online?
Yes. All class presentations and slides will be uploaded to the website over the coming weeks.
Could we maybe have more formal approach and presentation in class?
As the focus of the evening is to meet the teacher, individual teachers are free to choose the best approach for their class and stage. We continue to provide guidance on possible presentations for staff to incorporate if they wish.
Are there plans for more curriculum events during the year?
Yes. Upcoming events include a Numeracy and Mathematics event and Literacy and English event.
Numeracy and Mathematics, 3:45-4:45pm.
