As the side ‘MENSA’ door is closed off due to building work, in the event of inclement weather in the mornings before 8.55am, children should enter the school through the main door where they can congregate in the MENSA area as before.
Children in classes housed in the Junior Department, should enter through the main Junior Department entrance and congregate in the hall/dining hall areas where they will be supervised until the bell goes.
A photographer from The Extra will come out to school on Wednesday 24th at 9.20 to take photographs of our new Primary 1 pupils.
Congratulations to St Andrew’s House who were awarded ‘House of the Week’ last week! Keep up the good work!
We are looking forward to our new Captains and Vice Captains taking up their positions soon!
The Primary 5 members of the gardening club harvested all the fruit and vegetables which had been grown on the school grounds. They managed to successfully grow carrots, spring onion, potatoes, radish, apples and pears. The pupils then used the vegetables to make soup and fruit to make apple and pear crumble which they all enjoyed.
Due to a problem at Eastwood Pool, Primary 4 swimming lessons will now start on September 23rd.

P7A working together to create our Rights Respecting Schools Class Charter. We worked in groups to choose the top five Rights from the articles and we then voted to select 5 for our charter. We then worked together to decide upon corresponding responsibilities. Pupils suggested ideas and designs on how they would like the display to look and created it. It looks fabulous!
