Joseph Munro (3c) and Joshua Campbell (3b) playing for Hillwood boys club won the Robert Currie Park Villa football tournament on Sunday 24th May.
The team played 6 x 20 minute games to win, eventually beating Arsenal boys club 3 nil to take the 2007’s trophy. Joshua also won the player of the tournament award! Well done Joseph and Joshua!!

Congratulations to our some of our Primary 6 boys for winning the silver medal in the team event in Fife last Saturday. Our team consisted of Joseph McKay, Marc Capaldi, Michael Moynihan, Aidan Flynn and Callum Smith Their outstanding performance gave them 2nd place overall! Well done boys- a superb achievement!

The Primary 5 members of the gardening club harvested all the fruit and vegetables which had been grown on the school grounds. They managed to successfully grow carrots, spring onion, potatoes, radish, apples and pears. The pupils then used the vegetables to make soup and fruit to make apple and pear crumble which they all enjoyed.

Primary 7c are taking part in a Digital Commonwealth Project and are looking for some volunteers to come into school to be interviewed about their experiences of Glasgow 2014. If you were or know anyone who was an athlete, volunteer, spectator or involved through work, and are available to come into school to be interviewed then please contact Mrs Cumming. We would like to hold the interviews on Thursday 4th September but can be flexible with dates.
