Easter Bonnet Competition
The house competition this month is to design an Easter Bonnet. You can use any materials to make your bonnet but it must be in your house colours.
Entries
The deadline for the Bonnet is Friday 1st April. All bonnets should be taken to Miss McKenna (P4d) to be photographed on the 1st April, when she will select the winner. There will be an infant, middle and upper school winner plus runners up!
Good luck with the competition! Be creative and put your talents to good use!
The above document displays the very positive results from our most recent Parent’s feedback form.
First of all I would like to congratulate all of our Primary 7 pupils on their full participation and excellent behaviour in the Bibleworld exhibition. From sitting in an aeroplane to using a printing press, the activities were very informative and interactive!
On Monday, 21st March, we shall visit the Schoenstatt Retreat Centre in Campsie Glen. This will be an opportunity for all children and staff to take “time out” from our busy lives and reflect upon our relationships with those who are important to us. Further details about the centre can be found on their website.
If there are any changes to medical conditions / medications from the medical consent form you completed at the beginning of this session, please inform the school office.
The photographer will be in school tomorrow, Thursday 17th and Friday 18th, to take class photographs. Children should wear full school uniform – shirt and tie.
P5 CHOIR MEMO
Dear Parent/Carer,
Following the letter regarding the school choir performing at the Glasgow Music Festival on Tuesday 15th March, we have important information for the parents/carers of Primary 5 children wishing to attend on the day. Due to the number of children in the choir this year, we are required to split the Primary 5 children between the two performances.
Primary 5c and d will be performing in the Hymn Singing category at 11:45am.
Primary 5a and b will be performing in the Scots Song category at 3:45pm.
When the children are not performing, they will be supporting the choir as members of the audience.
Miss Kane and Miss McKenna
Due to the unforeseen absence of Miss Quinn, it has been necessary to postpone parents’ evening for P1a. Appointments will be rescheduled and you will be notified as soon as possible.
I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Primary 7 children should accompany their parents on parents’ evening.
The PSA are organising a Family Ceilidh which will take place on Friday 18th MARCH in St Ninian’s High School. Tickets are available from the school office priced £2.50 per child and £7.50 per adult. The Ceilidh will start at 7.00pm and finish at 10.00pm. Donations for the raffle would be appreciated and can be dropped off at the school office or brought along on the night.
Please support the work of our PSA.
