Welcome

Welcome to our new playworker, Craig. Craig will be with us temporarily until October when a permanent post for our playworker will be advertised. Say ‘Hello’ when you see him about the nursery.

Dear Parent/Carer,

We would like to advise you that if you are planning on going on holiday and visiting certain countries, the Scottish Government have issued guidelines on countries  where you are legally required  to adhere to quarantine regulations on your return.  We have attached the link to the relevant guidance https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-public-health-checks-atborders/pages/overview/ and to the list of exempt countries https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-public-health-checks-atborders/pages/exemptions/.

Please ensure that you familiarise yourself with this information to support us in continuing to stay safe and well.

Blended Learning Contingency Plan

In the event that our service is disrupted by Covid-19 in the future, such as in the event of a return to a local or national lock down, we have contingency plans in place. This includes, if required, a blended model of learning with children attending part of the week along with remote learning through Twitter and regular well being calls with your child’s key worker. in line with the schools, we would accommodate siblings in Glen on the same days as their siblings at nursery and primary school when possible. This may mean that children would attend on days that are not their usual pattern of attendance. If this plan is required, we will communicate this information to you as soon as possible.
