The Parent Council is made up of a group of parents who are committed to working alongside the school’s leadership team to deliver on all the ambitious targets within the School Improvement Plan. We exist primarily as a voice for all parents and we have, ideally, two class representatives associated to each year group.

A note from our Chair, Linda Dillon
Welcome to Carolside Parent Council!
I joined Parent Council as I wanted to contribute to my children’s school experience, and help to support my children’s learning in any way that I could – it turned out to be a far more rewarding experience than I ever thought it would.
We have built strong links over the last year with the school Eco Committee and Equalities Committee and have parent representatives who liaise directly with both of these groups.
Perhaps our biggest achievement to date is the establishment of the Uniform and Kit Exchange uniform shop – which is a collaboration with Busby and Williamwood Parent Councils. The uniform shop is a fantastic initiative that allows parents to address the cost of school uniforms whilst contributing to reducing the amount of uniform sent to landfill. We have big plans for the uniform shop to grow across 2022-2023 and we would love to see more parents involved.
On this page you will find a list of our meeting dates, and the names of the school year representatives. If you would like to get in touch or would like to enquire about joining the Parent Council, please email: carolsideparentcouncil@gmail.com
Thanks,
Linda Dillon
