P5.18 Blog 2023/24

P4.19 were the first class to win the rosette for lining up quickly and quietly after break and lunch! 🏵 We’re wearing it proudly on our door! Let’s see who wins it next time!

First week back and the new P4.19 are quickly finding their feet in their new classroom and year group in the school.

Three wonderful pupils won points for their house on the very first day back for working hard and helping others in the classroom.

We’ve spent the week catching up on everyone’s summer adventures and working hard to build on our wonderful growth mindsets to help us get ready for all the learning that’s ahead of us this year. We had a paper challenge that was exceptionally tricky but with a little help from Google, we solved it!

This week we were talking about our favourite books and made a little recommendation list in case anyone was looking for some inspiration for summer reading over the holidays!  📚

 

What a way to end the year, bouncy castle fun, yummy cupcakes, party games and a silent disco, what else could you ask for? 🥳  🧁 🏰

 

Some pupils in our class missed the big sports day earlier this term so we decided to have another one! We were cut short a little with a fire drill but it was a wonderful afternoon nonetheless! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ ⚽️ 🎳 

The class were excited to take their spheroes for a spin. Something else to look forward to in P4!

Pupils used QR codes around the classroom to help them practise interpreting different types of graphs and charts.

 

Today P3.9 enjoyed testing out their kites! Some pupils even managed to create kites that did the ‘loop the loop’ they were hoping for!
