Hello from P2.7!

This week has been really busy!

We were finding all different type of shapes around the class. We then used them to create our own pictures.

We were revising our words they we learned this week.Β  We did this by having a letter race! Some of us used magnetic letters and some of us used stones to create our words.

This week we have been looking at our number bonds to find out what makes ten. We found lots of items around the room to make calculations. We also worked in pairs to solve calculations and worked hard on our rainbow number bonds.

COAST from Arran

The RNLI

On Friday morning a lifeguard called Richard visited us. He taught us how to stay safe near water and told us how to get help in an emergency.

Jamie tried on the lifeguards uniform. Β Doesn’t he look fantastic! Β He said it was very heavy and hard to move in.

We are Germbusters!

We have been learning about the importance of washing our hands properly to be Germbusters.

We learned a new hand washing song and designed posters to put up in the nursery and the school to promote the importance of washing our hands.
