We managed to catch 2 of our 5 wonderful butterflies emerging in a time lapse!
Pupils have been working hard to transform their wonderful notes Β into amazing articles!
Once they finished writing, they shared their work with two peers to get some constructive feedback before adding their final illustrations. I think we may have some reporters in our midst!
Who new making paper was such hard work! Pupils have been determined to use all the resources brought in from home. π‘
Pupils were very engaged with their reading this morning. They started with choosing their own avatars then had a go at their first story and questions independently.
We had some great βexpertβ helpers go around the classroom and help everyone get on too, we make a great team.
Practise makes perfect!
P3.9 have been working very hard taking notes to find interesting facts for their wonderful newspaper articles. Canβt wait to see the final pieces of work! π°
After our wonderful visit from A.F Steadman, two very excited members of the class treated us with a reading from the start of the book! The opening pages were full of challenging vocabulary yet our readers did fantastically reading with great confidence. Look forward to hearing all about it! πΒ π¦
Time to move into their butterfly garden ready for their next transformation!
The silk was much harder to take off than we were expecting but we got there in the end, now all we have to do is wait! π°
Our class caterpillars have shed their final exoskeleton and transformed into their own chrysalis. We will leave them until Monday to harden and then transport them into their butterfly garden.Β π¦

This week pupils started pulling apart different materials to start he process of making their own paper.
