Off to Canada and re visiting some wonderful countries yet no two presentation were the same! Learning more about food, climates, agriculture, architecture and sport.ย โฝ๏ธ
Today our presentations took us to Pakistan and Japan to learn all about some traditional food and more about their countries customs. Pupils worked hard to include personal photos and interests in their presentations to help us learn even more about their chosen country.
Pupils set the bar high today with their fantastic solo presentations. We have learnt about Italy, Mexico and Portugal today!

Spooky problem solving to start the day!
It was then time to get our creative side flowing learning to blend colours to make a spooky background, canโt wait to see the end result!
Pupils have been working hard in their PE lessons to work hard as part of a team. During capture the flag pupils huddled together for team talks and to create tactics for trying to beat their opponent. This week we worked better ensuring we let everyone have a turn to try and score a point running with the flag! Well done everyone!
Who doesnโt love a disco with lots of sweets and treats! The pupils enjoyed showing off their wonderful costumes tonight, a wonderful effort all round. We learnt very quickly what the meaning of a sugar high was!
Weโve been working hard practising our basketball skills. As a class we are getting much more confident at dribbling and shooting! This week each team scored lots of baskets with a slightly lower basket to aim for.
What a lovely welcome back to school after the holidays! We started today with the wonderful pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, it was great to see so many smiles and laughing faces this morning!
ย More excitement followed quickly after with a visit from the author Aisling Fowler. The pupils got their imaginative minds bubbling when challenged to create their own main character and setting.
Finally pupils were challenged to participate in a range of different activities to push them physically!
What a first day back!
Pupilโs had lots to celebrate in class today with 5 children winning Sumdog awards for their hard work and participation during the National Sumdog competition!ย
Two pupils were also awarded star pupils for their exceptionally positive attitudes towards learning leading to great personal success in class! Well done P4.19! ๐
