Now time to learn about countries around Canada and a little about one of their wonderful dishes.
Pupils are building their confidence in the kitchen and enjoying some baking today to mix things up. Since it was maths week too children were taking extra care in weighing and measuring all of their ingredients to help in the success of their pancakes!
Once the batter was ready, it was time to cook! the big blueberries made this a slow process however it was worth the wait…
P4.19 celebrated our new class representatives ย today at the leadership assembly. Parents and family came to share the celebration too!
A picture of 3 of 4 of our wonderful representatives this year! We look forward to seeing all that they achieve this year !
Our fabulous star pupils so far this year. Pupils have been working exceptionally hard both in class and at home. Keep up the wonderful work!
Just like that itโs time to cook again!
Pupilโs started looking at all the countries near India, then they headed to the kitchen to learn how to make some red lentil dahl. The smells of the spices were very rich today, which some liked and some thought were quite strong. However with the end results we had so many pupils asking for seconds and even thirds! ย A firm favourite with P4.19 so far!
Time to taste… the quietest the class have been all day!
Time to learn more about Italy!
Chopping time again, the class are getting more confident each week. Look at all the colours in our fresh vegetable that are getting prepared to go in our sauce.
A pupil in P4.19 got to take home a cello today, we all enjoyed learning more about the different parts of the instrument and how to play it. We look forward to hearing it being played again in the future!
An afternoon filled with great presentations in our classroom, if only there were enough roles for everyone as they were all very deserving!
The wind and rain got in the way of PE outside today however we enjoyed some Joe Wicks and Just Dance exercise in the classroom instead!
