Hummus from Ancient Egypt πŸ₯•πŸ₯‘

Β Pupils enjoyed their first gastronomers experience in the kitchen this week. Today we found out that hummus was first mentioned to have been made in Ancient Egypt! It is eaten all over the world and is especially popular in the Middle East. We looked at different countries in the Middle East and shared some knowledge about them before creating our own hummus in the kitchen.

The children made 3 different flavours of hummus and cut their own cruditΓ©s to dip. The carrot flavour seemed to be the favourite!
