Ecosystems!

We have started learning about Ecosystems in Science. We now know that an ecosystem is made up of all the living things and non-living things in an area. It can be of any size; as small as a puddle or big as oceans. First, we investigated what kind of living and non-living things we can find around us and then watched a video on different ecosystems. We were fascinated by the amazing facts of our diverse planet, Earth! We went outside to explore our school compound and to spot any ecosystems we can find. We were very good in spotting small ecosystem under logs and even found flies and worms in the puddles along with the non-living things like water, soil, stones and logs. We will be doing lots of fun activities on different ecosystems in the next following weeks!
