Four of our S6 pupils have been working with Dr Susan Millar this year to gain a deeper understanding of a career in the medical field. Dr Millar has been on hand to offer support with applying to university for medicine and with advice on writing personal statements. She even came in to put our young people through their paces with interview preparation.
Our school Careers Advisers will still be available over the summer if anyone needs support. They can support pupils over the phone/email or meet them in their office on John Finnie Street.
Careers Advisers will also be contacting leavers throughout the summer to ensure they have a positive destination in place.
