The Snowdrops have been successfully learning all about Harvest this week and baked some hedgehog bread rolls. All pupils were confident individuals exploring textures and smells of different bread rolls. Everyone made effective contributions to mixing, kneading, smelling and shaping our hedgehog rolls.

Responsible Snowdrops
The Snowdrops were responsible citizens joining all their friends for a MacMillan Coffee Morning themed snack. We tasted lots of different green foods for our snack!
FAOL – Outdoor Learning
The Snowdrops have been out in our school playground gathering sticks. Everyone worked together finding small sticks that had blown onto the ground in the school garden. We managed to fill a whole tray! The Snowdrops used the sticks to create a house of sticks, just like the little pig had made in our story. All our houses are now on our class wall for everyone to see.
FOAL Snowdrops Class Assembly
The Snowdrops were all confident individuals helping to lead assembly and tell everyone a story about the Lion and the Mouse. All the Snowdrops contributed very well and held up photos of ways we can help or be good friends in our class.
FAOL Emotions Bottles
The Snowdrops have been successful learners creating emotions bottles using water, oil and food colouring. We made our own choices of emotions colours and contributed effectively by filling and pouring the water or oil into our bottles. It was fun to see how the water slowly changed in colour and made different bubble shapes. The Snowdrops chose to add sprinkles or glitter to their bottles too!
Busy Number Fun
It’s National Maths Week in school and the Snowdrops have been busy successful learners, exploring numbers through lots of fun play activities. We also made our own confident choices of number work to take home.
The Snowdrops have all been confident individuals, getting to know new friends and moving around the school together.
We have had all been effective contributors creating fun self portraits of ourselves using different textures. The Snowdrops really like looking at themselves in a mirror!
The Snowdrops have been responsible citizens looking at pictures of our school badge and can recognise the Snowdrops picture that tells us which class we belong to.
We have also been very active, joining in with action songs about our emotions and created posters showing colours and characters of emotions.
It’s been a very busy few weeks of successful learning. We hope you enjoy some of our photos!
