Enchanted fairies and elves! The Comets Class were given the opportunity to explore a range of art materials and select ‘clothes’ for their fairy or elf character.

The Comets Class have been investigating the use of different tone within art. The pupils attempted to recreate this beautiful painting of an enchanted forest.
In art and design, tone refers to how light or dark something is. Tones could refer to black, white and the grey tones between.
Lots of excellent fine motor skills and everyone was very engaged throughout this activity.

The Pine class have been comparing the different colours used to represent Snow White and the Evil Queen. These colours often contrasted.
The pupils made these gorgeous zebra pictures from torn paper to show how two contrasting colours can create a very interesting art effect.
