Effective Contributors and Successful Learners
During this busy week, the Sunflowers have celebrated St Patrick’s Day by learning all about the Leprechaun that followed the rainbow to reach the pot of gold. Each child helped find the parts of the rainbow and put it together to make their own. We managed to collect golden chocolate coins when our rainbow was complete.
Holi is known as the Festival of Colour and the Sunflowers loved taking part in coloured science experiments. Each child watched a clear prism change colours in clear light. As it is Science week, we have had other experiments each day whilst learning about touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing. Below are also some photos of us experimenting and exploring the senses.
