On Thursday it is World Book Day. Here are some activities to try at home. Choose a different book everyday to listen to.
- Elmer – Click here. Can you decorate a drawing of an elephant with lots of different coloured materials?
- Little Red Riding Hood – Click here. Can you pack a picnic basket with some real or toy foods.
- Bing gets dressed – Click here. Can you dress up or try to put on some of your clothes independently.
- Max and the won’t go to bed show – Click here. Can you help to make your bed and tidy your toys away.
- Oh Dear – Click here. Paint some boiled eggs and then search for them once they have been hidden around the room.

Collect some stones from the garden or when you are out a walk. Can you paint them and write a number on them. Can you order them? 1 2 3 4 5

Outdoor Learning
Make some binoculars for bird watching.
You will need – 2 cardboard toilet or kitchen rolls, some tape, paint.
- Paint the cardboard and leave to dry.
- Stick the cardboard together.
- Go to a window facing your garden and look out of them to see some birds.
