In the meantime, here are some fun ideas that will keep you busy this week!

Literacy – LGBT Month

As it is LGBT month, here is a great story that shows that we are all wonderful and unique.  The story below “No Matter What’ explains to us that we are loved as we are.  There are a few animals mentioned in the story.

Can you point to the grizzly bear, the squishy bug and the crocodile?

Numeracy – Counting Songs (1-10)

In class, we love to sing along to counting songs.  Here are a few favourites which I know you all love.  Try to say the numbers aloud if you can.

How many fingers???

This song is a firm favourite in the Sunflower’s class!  Use your fingers to count along.  Stomp your feet to the music and clap along too.

STEM – Marshmallow Tower

Finally,  can you build a tower from spaghetti and marshmallows? Enjoy a tower challenge and make sure your tower is strong enough to stand tall. You can even eat the marshmallows after you have finished! I have added some examples below to help you.
