S4-6 Prelims

The prelim exam timetable was released today on Satchel One and Subject Teams, paper copies were issued to S4. Pupils in S5/6 can collect paper copies tomorrow at assembly if required.

Pupils requiring Alternative Assessment Arrangements such as extra time, adapted papers etc will receive individual timetables over the next few days as the start and finish times will be different from the timetables issued today.  The dates will not change.

Pupils are expected to attend all classes during the prelim diet, unless they have an exam.  Pupils will be allowed to study for any exam during their normal timetabled classes.

S3 Parents Evening- Tuesday 8th November

Please find attached the letter that will be issued to S3 pupils this Tuesday during PLP. The letter outlines the arrangements for parents evening and will have an attached booking sheet that your child should use to make their appointments in school.

All parents travelling via car should use the parking on campus, located at the old Cumnock Academy site.

SLC Fundraising

Thank you to all of the amazing staff and pupils in the Supported Learning Centre for organising and taking part in the fundraising efforts om 14th October. As well as wearing blue in support of Mary’s Meals, our secondary pupils completed a sponsored walk to Dumfries House estate and our primary pupils had a porridge party and a walk around the campus with their teddy bears.
Together we raised £561 for the children of Jebbeh Kiazolu school, and we are still collecting. What an amazing achievement!

Great Scottish Run

We are extremely proud of our pupils and staff who took part in the Great Scottish Run, organised by Mr Sheppard.

Parent Council AGM

We are pleased to confirm that the rescheduled Parent Council AGM for session 20222-23 will now be held on Monday 26th September. We would like to welcome our new S1 parents to attend, as well as any other parents who are interested in joining. Great Scottish Run 10K

The school community of Robert Burns Academy in East Ayrshire is always active in a variety of ways in supporting  different charities.

40 Staff,students,friends and parents /guardians have volunteered to take part in this great day Sunday 2nd October 2022.

The Great Scottish Run 10k has been a  popular fun event to take part in for some time now, if you are able we would be grateful for any donations to this page to help us raise as much as possible for this cause.

Please support the participants in this venture as it will be the first time some have ever taken part in an event such as this and it takes a degree of strength, character and courage to participate in this type of fundraising.

Welcome Back! – School Return Info

Welcome Back! We hope this information finds you and your family safe and you have been able to enjoy your summer break.

We look forward to seeing all pupils back in school on Thursday 18th August. Our new S1 pupils should have received a letter confirming their PLP class and details for the first day. All S1 pupils should make their way to Barony Hall for 8.45am where they will be met by their PLP teacher who will escort them to class. S5/6 pupils who acted as senior guides during the two induction days in June should also go straight to Barony Hall for 8.45am to meet their class.

Our PLP teachers and classrooms have also been updated. It is important that everyone checks the attached document to find out where there PLP class will be located this year.
