Each young person in our school is allocated a House when they join us in S1. They remain in this House until they leave school and are supported by a Principal Teacher of Pupil Support and Depute Head Teacher who oversees the House.
In addition to our two School Captains, each House will also have two captains to promote inter-house competitions as part of their leadership role within the house. For more information on this see the Pupil Leadership section in our Pupil Zone.
Our six house are: Alloway, Caledonia, Dumfries, Ellisland, Hamilton, and Maxwell. The key contacts for each house are detailed below (click on the image to enlarge):
