P1/2/3 – Feedback Friday

Happy Friday everyone!! 😀 We made it through the second week of home learning and I am SO proud of how hard you’ve all worked so a big well done to you! Now, let’s relax and take some time to recharge over the weekend, you all deserve it 🙂

Here are some of the week highlights.

Have a great weekend everyone and I will see you all again on Monday.

Miss Weir 🙂

RRSA

Hi Primary 1/2/3, Primary 4/5 and I are working towards getting a bronze Rights Respecting School Award (RRSA). The RRSA award is all about children’s rights and as a whole school we will be learning all about them over the next few months. It is so important to know your rights and let your voices be heard. We need your help to gather information, if you haven’t already could you please complete the questionnaire linked below.
Thank you from Miss Wallace and Primary 4/5😊

Technical Issues

Good morning boys and girls. Unfortunately the Vscene link this morning would not work for me and therefore our live session has been cancelled. However, we have 2 live sessions tomorrow which means I will get to catch up with you then.

In today’s live lesson we were going to be looking at your research about the 7 Scottish Cities and locating them on a map of Scotland. If you could bring along this task to tomorrow morning’s live check in session we will discuss our findings then.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience caused. I hope to see you all tomorrow 🙂

Miss Weir

P1/2/3 – Daily check in/update

Good morning P1/2/3 I hope you are all well. How are you feeling today? I am feeling excited as I get to see you all again today on our live session! 😁

A little update in regards to phonics. Ruth Miskin is currently running live videos on YouTube which focus on practising different phonemes through the Read, Write, Inc programme (a literacy resource). The videos are live from 9.30am for 24 hours each day. Today’s focus phonemes are –

P1 – revision of ‘k’

P2/3 – oy phoneme (our focus this week!!)

It may be worth looking at 🙂

See you all at 9.30 for our live session! Remember to bring your Scotland task along with you.

P1/2/3 – Daily Check In and Update

Good morning boys and girls I hope we are all feeling good today 🙂 I hope you managed ok with your home learning tasks yesterday and found the little videos to support these useful! I am feeling super tired today as I didn’t get a great sleep last night 🙁 How are you feeling today?

Just a little update. I have to attached a link below this post which will direct you to a questionnaire. This is based on Primary 4/5’s committee (Rights Respecting School) and Miss Wallace has kindly asked if it can be completed by Thursday 🙂 Thanks!

Have a great day everyone!
